Introduction to the blog

 Hello,

   Not long ago I started a journey that excited and frightened me. I began to question facts in my life. I questioned the unquestionable. Was there really a God in this heavenly realm? Is Jesus really God? Is Satan a real being? Is praying a specific prayer really what gets you into heaven? You must understand that in my world, those questions are dangerous, blasphemous. But I had to ask them. My background is Independent Fundamental Baptist just for frame of reference.

    I have no answers yet. I only have questions and curiosity at this point. The only thing I’m pretty sure of is that religion was not created by God; it is a man-made way of making sense of who God is and what he wants from us. I’ve realized that God wasn’t meant to be in that kind of box. I think ultimately just wants a close relationship with us. So, now I will attempt to document my ideas, discoveries, and different views.

    So, things may conflict with one another, and things I write may contradict each other. Just keep in mind that it is a part of my journey and thought process. I may be sure of one thing one day and then the complete opposite the next day. Observe my process. Don’t take it as truth. Let it aid you in your own spiritual journey.

    P.S. I’m writing this on my iPad without a keyboard since mine is apparently under something, hiding from me. It isn’t easy typing on the iPad that’s for sure! I hope I find my keyboard soon.

P.P.S. (Or is it P.S.S.? I’m not looking it up.) I’m no professional writer, so please excuse the errors I make in the writing process. I will treat this more like a diary and will not concern myself too much with grammar. I,  may, use,  too,  many, commas…I love commas.
